Dear Professional,
Maybe you can relate. Do you ever…
- Feel like you witness things that are unjust that others just don’t seem to notice, but don't seem to have the courage to speak up about?
- Feel frustrated or discouraged by the injustices you witness in your workplace, but struggle to find the right words or actions to effect change?
- Feel like you don't belong or that you are different from those around you, either in your family, community, or social group?
- Feel unsafe, either physically or emotionally, in your environment - or recall times in your life when you have?
- Feel anxious or burnt out at work and feel stuck and unsure of how to make a change?
- Feel a deep sense of empathy and compassion towards others who experience similar feelings of not belonging or feeling unsafe?
- Feel a duty or responsibility to make a change and contribute to a more just and peaceful world?
- Feel afraid to speak up? Afraid that you may do something “wrong”, make things worse - or even be judged and ridiculed for trying?
- Feel stuck or unsure about how to take action toward making a change?
If you said yes to any of these, I have some good news for you:
You are a Leader.
Now, whether your immediate reaction is to say, “Yes I am”, “No I’m not!”, or feel yourself freeze in a spiral of inner confusion and chaos,
The fact that you’re here tells me three things:
- You care about people.
- You care about justice, and believe that all people deserve to be treated with respect.
- And you care about serving others, and know you’re meant to make a big difference.
And, no matter your job title or how high you rank on the corporate ladder, THIS is what sets you apart.
As Brené Brown says, "A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential."
So, whether you’re a manager, corporate leader, or team member - I acknowledge you for your courage to be here, and to be curious.
In my 20+ years of leadership development and experience coaching professionals how to create safe, conscious, and equitable environments that allow people to peacefully thrive…
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
The quality of work and effectiveness of a company or team, always comes down to people. Because without people, there can be no process, productivity, or profit.
And, in a world that often prioritizes productivity over human well-being, people are often compromised physically, mentally, and emotionally in order to achieve growth. This can create harm, not just to individuals in the form of discomfort -- but also unhappiness at work, anxiety, and even burnout.
But this also can create harm to the overall company as a whole.
(Maybe you can relate?)
That’s where you come in.

What is a Liberator?
A LIBERATOR IS SOMEONE WHO...
▶ Prioritizes harmony over harm, love over hate, and inclusion over exclusion.
▶ Knows first-hand what it feels like on some level to not feel safe, or to feel like they don’t belong (such as any form of racial, gender, or sexual orientation discrimination). As a result, they have a gift of seeing the injustices that occur in the workplace, in their community, and in the world and know they cannot be truly free by only witnessing and not being/acting differently.
▶ Feels a deep sense of duty and responsibility to develop the necessary skills to make a difference and create environments that are safe, conscious and equitable for all.
▶ Knows they can’t do it alone, and seeks community to stay conscious.

Meet the founder
Hi, I'm Dale,
As far back as I can remember, it’s always been in my DNA to help people. This was actually the true inspiration behind why I got my masters in Kinesiology and went on to focus on adapted kinesiology. I knew I was called to working with people with different abilities, including older adults and people with addictions, who had been used to feeling like outsiders, or like they didn’t belong.
What truly brought me joy was showing these individuals that they could experience the world in a way they never thought possible, and helping them connect with those they may have previously judged.
But as I pursued my PhD in medicine, I began to feel a calling for something more. I wondered if there was a way I could make an even greater difference in the world. And then, someone introduced me to leadership development coaching.
At first, I was skeptical - I had always believed that medicine was the only way to truly help people
But as I began to learn more, I realized that the work we do and the way we define success has a major impact on our lives. We often assign our worth to our jobs, living in a highly competitive culture that rewards speed and quantity over quality and care.
I saw the effects of this model in the workplaces I coached, and even experienced it myself. I knew I had to do something to create a new model - one that was therapeutic, non-violent, and equitable.
For 20 years, I've dedicated my life to this mission. I've worked with over 1,000 people in organizations of all sizes and types, and now I'm ready to take it to the next level.
If you feel the calling to make a bigger impact and join me in creating conscious, equitable environments where people truly feel safe and valued, then this certification program is for you.
Together, we can BE the change we wish to see in the world through authentic communication, conflict evolution, helping others grow, creating healthy relationships, and practicing empathy. Join me on this journey today.

“I thought I was doing all the right things. Turns out I was trying to apply management strategies to human/leadership issues. By learning to be more aware and more connected to what’s most important to me, all of my conversations have changed. It’s so much easier. I feel lighter knowing this way.”
~ Michael G., Government Executive, Ottawa, Canada
“Performance issues and honest feedback have always been difficult for me as a manager. Now I do it all day, in all areas of my life, and it’s really exciting to see and feel the difference.”
~ Sarah J., Business Owner, Edmonton, Canada

The Liberation Method
"Racism didn’t happen to an individual, it happened to a collective. So you can’t heal it in an individual, it has to be healed in a collective."
~ Resmaa Menakem
The Liberation Method is what sets this program apart from any other Education or Certification program you may have experienced. This method comprises three crucial phases that will guide you toward true transformation and healing.
1. Mourn
In this first phase, we co-create a safe and compassionate space for mourning the pain and trauma you and us all have experienced in relation to issues of equity and inclusion and justice. We help you explore, process and make meaning of your emotions in a way that allows you to release any pent-up feelings, praise what you discover, metabolize what is needed to create space for healing and contribute to your and others lives in healthy, authentic and meaning-full ways. This phase is about individual and collective responsibility and openness. It is also about the gift and vulnerability of letting go of previously held beliefs, ways of being, habits or actions that no longer serve you nor the greater good, in this big beautiful world.
2. Heal
In the second phase, we focus on healing your inner self by providing you with the resources and strategies that promote self-care and self-love that is needed for other-care and other-love. We help you cultivate practices that strengthen your inner resilience and emotional intelligence so that you can navigate difficult situations with grace and ease. This phase is where we become practitioners of non-violence (do no further harm) in how we think, speak, act and relate to one another. This phase is about healing to transform ourselves, our families, workplaces and communities.
3. Transform
The third and final phase of the Liberation Method is all about transformation. Here, we help you integrate your newfound awareness and insights into your daily life and work, so you can become a truly liberated leader that liberates others. We provide guidance and support as you apply what you have learned, and we help you create a plan to inspire true inclusion in non-harming, trauma-informed ways and make a lasting difference in your personal and professional life.
This is for you if:
- You are a professional who wants to create a more inclusive workplace and society.
- You feel hurt by the discrimination you've seen and experienced, and sometimes find yourself saying "I'm tired of trying to educate people. What's the point?"
- You want to learn how to become a liberated leader who does no further harm and who inspires others to make a lasting difference.
- You are ready to challenge your own biases and beliefs and commit to personal and professional growth.
- You want to feel liberated and contribute to the greater good without feeling burdened and burnt-out.
- You know that if you do nothing, that can be just as harmful to folks.
- You want to join a community of like-souled professionals who are committed to healing, conscious equity and social change.
This is not for you if:
- You are not willing to put in the time and effort to learn and grow as a leader.
- You are not open to learning about and addressing your own biases and privilege.
- You are not willing to actively work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace and society.
- You are not willing to engage in open and honest discussions about sensitive and potentially uncomfortable topics.
- You are looking for a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all solution.

Their experiences fuel his commitment to fostering understanding, facilitating healing conversations, and promoting unity. As a devoted parent, Trevor strives to raise resilient children who challenge prejudices and embrace inclusivity.
Acknowledging the importance of personal growth, Trevor continually confronts his own biases, striving for heightened self-awareness and a delicate balance in his own life. Rooted in his passion for reducing harm and promoting inclusivity, Trevor is on a mission to create a world where empathy, inclusion and growth can truly thrive.
“The most significant impact ConsciousLead has had on me is that now I am more accepting of other people’s thoughts and actions. I feel that I have a better understanding of the fact that I view the world from my own lens and that my lens is very different from that of others. The world I see is my own singular truth just as with others. Since taking this course, my self-awareness has grown and my communication skills have improved. I now see and value a marked improvement in my relationship with family, friends and colleages.”
